I expected Chile to have a comfortable win in this game. It could have been a better result but the quality in the finishing needs to be addressed. Sure, there were some good saves but the last touch in this tournament is below par.

Chile dominated with 62 % possession had 18 shots at goal and 11 on target but only one goal to show. Bolivia on the other hand had ten shots on goal with three on target but not really threatening the Chileans.
This was another one-sided affair but the final result does not show how much better Chile was than Bolivia. It has been the theme of this tournament that one team dominates but does not score much – except Brazil.
Argentina finally wins

As I predicted Argentina won this game – finally. The game started of brightly and Argentina was dominant to the point where in the 13th minute Rodriquez scored form a Messi cross. For the first 20 minutes Argentina were very good but fell flat after that as they allowed Uruguay to do all the running and waited for the counter attack.
Uruguay had 55 % of the possession but were ineffective in the last third of the field and created very few goal chances. In fact, they only had four shots at goals with none on target even though they were fighting to get a goal.
Again Copa takes a break today and resumes tomorrow, I wonder who organised this tournament!

This game should play out to a draw, neither team seem to have that X factor that can lead it to a win. One team may get lucky and if anything Venezuela has the edge. So I expect this to be a draw, even if goals are scored.

This should be an easy win for Columbia because from the first look Peru seem to be there for the taking. Columbia also need the points to ensure a high place in the group.
