DUE to flooding in Sangre Grande, a People’s National Movement (PNM) public meeting has been postponed.
A release from the PNM at 9 am on Wednesday stated that the Leaders in Service team has postponed the meeting scheduled to take place on Wednesday evening at the Northeastern Community Centre, Duranta Gardens, Sangre Grande due to the prevailing conditions in the locality.
“At this time MP Roger Munroe and Councillor Martin Terry Rondon and his colleagues are on the ground assisting affected residents. Our Leaders in Service team stands ready to provide support as needed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the beautiful people of Sangre Grande,” the release stated.
