ALL primary health facilities in Tobago have resumed normal operations.

The facilities resumed operations today (Wednesday, June 29, 2022) after closing at 1 pm on Tuesday due to the tropical storm warning.

The Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) in a release today stated, however, that all outpatient clinics will remain closed. The clinics were closed for the entire day on Tuesday.

“This is to facilitate sanitising of the clinic area and re-installation of the Covid-19 tent,” the TRHA stated.

The Tobago Emergency Management Services (TEMS) ambulances will remain operational and can be reached at 639-4444 or 211.

All schools in Tobago that were closed on Tuesday will also remain closed on Wednesday as an additional precautionary measure.

The tropical storm warning has since been discontinued.
