No Water in North Trinidad: WASA Continues Work on Pipeline

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) continues work on a ruptured transmission pipeline along the westbound lane of Churchill Roosevelt Highway, in the vicinity of the Curepe Interchange on Thursday.

A release stated that parts of North Trinidad served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant, were experiencing a disruption in pipe borne water supply that this is due to the ruptured transmission pipeline.

It stated, “The Authority’s crews are currently carrying out excavation works to assess the damaged pipeline and the nature of repairs that will be required. As such, the Caroni North Transmission System has stopped to allow for the safe excavation and assessment of the pipeline.

“The Authority will provide a further update on the nature of the repairs and the expected completion time in a subsequent statement. “

Hope, Mt Lambert;

Areas served by the Valsayn Booster Stations A & B:

Trou Macaque, Santa Cruz;

Areas served by the El Socorro Booster Station:
