VENEZUELA have a much improved game and were able to give a good account of themselves compared to the match against Brazil. Thanks to the goalkeeper Venezuela were able to keep a clean sheet and earn a point. Again, the inability of the South Americans to score was highlighted.

It was an easy night for Brazil as they showed the rest of South America how to score goals with four agianst Peru. Goals by Sandro (12th), Neymar (68th), Ribeiro (89th) and Richarlison (93rd) showed just how to score goals.
Brazil sowed that they are the dominant team in the tournament with seven goals in two games. This team will take something special to beat them and stop them from a second consecutive title and the way it looks now it seems only Brazil can beat Brazil. Only if they get complacent can any team in this group challenge them for a win.
Four individual goal scorers in this game it showed that they are not dependent on Neymar, and like all the great Brazilian teams in the past they are not a one-man team.
