75,000 Positive Covid-19 Cases Since Pandemic Started

SINCE the Covid-19 pandemic started last year, more than 75,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Trinidad and Tobago.

This was revealed in the latest update (#929) of the Ministry of Health on Sunday. It reported 26 more Covid-19 deaths and 601 new cases taken from samples during the period December 2 to 4.

The ministry reported 75,134 positive cases in total with 12,290 active ones.

Total persons vaccinated with 1st dose of a Two Dose Regime: 648,920

Total persons vaccinated with 2nd dose of a Two Dose Regime: 603,828

Total persons vaccinated with a Single Dose Regime: 44,463

Total persons with a Completed Vaccination Regime: 648,391   

Total persons with Additional Primary Dose: 32,23

Percentage of patients in the parallel healthcare system who are not fully vaccinated: 89.8% (6,408 out of 7,134) based on data from July 22, 2021, to November 17, 2021.
