10,000 Active Covid Cases in T&T

THE number of active Covid-19 cases in Trinidad and Tobago has now crossed 10,000, the Ministry of Health has reported. 

In its latest  Covid-19 update (920) on Friday, the ministry also reported 21 Covid-19 related deaths and 720 new positive cases taken from samples between November 22 to 25.

Total people tested: 441, 571  

New cases: 720 

Active cases: 10,005   

Patients recovered:  56, 942   

Total positive cases: 69, 008     

Deaths: 2,061   

Patients in hospital: 565    

Patients in step-down Facilities: 155   

Patients in state quarantine: 90     

Patients in home isolation: 8,565     

Total persons vaccinated with 1st dose of a Two Dose Regime: 641,585     

Total persons vaccinated with 2nd dose of a Two Dose Regime: 597,927  

Total persons vaccinated with a Single Dose Regime: 42,244  

Total persons with a Completed Vaccination Regime: 640, 171  

Total persons with Additional Primary Dose: 18, 261 

Percentage of patients in the parallel healthcare system who are not fully vaccinated: 90.9% 5,726 out of 6,302 based on data from July 22, 2021 to November 10, 2021
