THE number of people who have died as a result of Covid-19 in T&T has passed 600.
In its latest update (#750) on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health reported that 17 people died from the virus bringing the number of deaths to 616.
Additionally, 454 new positive cases were reported taken from samples during the period June 3 to June 8.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in the country is now 9,869.
