THE remains of a toddler were spotted on Monday at the end of the Ortoire River.
The remains are believed to be that of missing three-year-old Allon Ramdial who was missing from his Ortoire home since last Thursday.
They were discovered by a joint team of Mayaro lifeguards, Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Captain Vallence Rambharat and the Wesley Mohammed team at around 11.40 am.
Extensive searches conducted by fishermen, the Hunters Search and Rescue Team (HSRT), Mayaro / Rio Claro Regional Corporation (MRCRC), the protective services and other citizens up until Monday were futile.
Allon lived close to the fishing port in Ortoire Village with his 19-year-old mother Christinna Ramdial.
