In a press release that bore several signatures, the executive members of the THA stated, “We will continue to serve the people of Tobago as Independent Members, in full support of Chief Secretary, Farley Chavez Augustine and Deputy Chief Secretary, Dr Faith B. Yisrael.”

In September, Dr Yisrael was appointed the new Deputy Chief Secretary after Duke resigned from his post following a fall-out with Augustine.

Augustine was also removed then from his party post as deputy political leader by Duke.
