Take Survey: Say if Police Performing

THE public can share their views on the performance of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS). 

The Police Service Commission stated in a release on Monday that it was making available to members of the public its Public Trust, Confidence and Satisfaction Survey of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.  

Members of the public have from November 1 to 22 to participate in the survey.

 The release stated, “The survey will collect information on a range of critical issues related to public perception of the Police Service. The survey consists of 13 questions and takes approximately five minutes to complete.”

The survey seeks to identify the areas in the TTPS that are working well and those that require improvement in ensuring the safety and security of the people of Trinidad and Tobago, the release stated. 

It stated that the findings of the survey will give the Commission an insight into what is necessary to improve the services provided to the public by the TTPS.

It is available on the Service Commissions Department’s website at https://scd.org.tt/ . 

The release noted, “To ensure the broadest possible awareness of and access to the survey, the Commission is collaborating with government ministries and departments, non-governmental organisations and private sector organisations to make the survey available on as many websites and social media sites as possible.”

The public can also complete the survey through quick response (QR) codes which enable fast and easy access by anyone with a smartphone, the release stated.

The information gathered will be kept confidential.
