Stolen Cancer Drugs Returned to St James

ALMOST all of the drugs stolen from the dispensary at the St James Medical Complex on July 5 have been returned to the medical facility.

In a release from the  North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) this week, the authority stated that 99% of the drugs were returned.

The drugs were recovered by police  on August 6. The items were returned to the hospital on August 7.

The handover exercise involved officers of the Western Division Criminal Investigations Department, and Manager of Security Services, the Acting Hospital Administrator, and pharmacists of the St James Medical Complex.

And the NWRHA thanked the police for the intervention.
