COVID-19 vaccination continued throughout Trinidad and Tobago over the weekend.
There were 109 health centres, nine mass vaccination sites and three drive-thru facilities that administer the Covid-19 vaccines throughout T&T.
AZPNews.com visited the Ato Boldon stadium on Sunday. Energy company Proman is running the site which is administering first dose AstraZeneca and second doses of the Sinopharm vaccines.
People described the process as very efficient. One lady who received her second dose of the Sinopharm said she was very pleased with the smooth process.
Ushers, security and medical personnel were on hand to guide the process. Cars were lined up and a steady flow of people were vaccinated throughout the day.
The operations were coordinated by a command centre under Commander Garvin Heerah.
