THERE was disruption at school in Belmont on Thursday morning following a shooting incident.
Reports are that around 7 am, two men were walking along Davis Street when they were shot at by armed suspects who escaped.
The police was notified by residents and officers from the Port of Spain Task Force responded.
One of the victims was observed running through a track near Belmont Secondary School.
He was soon after found bleeding near the Hilton hotel and was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital.
Attempts made to find the other man who was also seen bleeding running through the compound of Providence Girls’ Catholic School were unsuccessful.
