She urged all supporters to vote for the change needed.

“August 14, one by one, with this finger, riot in the polling booth!” Alexander declared lifting his voting finger.

He said, “We the people of Trinidad and Tobago can no longer accept politics as usual in this country… It is killing us. It is killing our loved ones.”

Pointing to those in the audience, Alexander said, “All these little children here and all those grannies home like my mother and everybody father, all the elders they are looking to us to rescue the country.”

His vision for Trinidad and Tobago is built on a proper foundation literally with properly built roads to last decades, in which all schools were looked at as prestigious, where patients in the health care system were treated with dignity and respect  and burglar proofing would no longer be needed.

Alexander said, “We have a vision for Trinidad and Tobago where all our people have hope, opportunity, safety, could be happy. We are the happiest people in the world. We the people of Trinidad and Tobago, we deserve better.”

“We deserve better than the politics of race and division…we deserve better than what we have gotten for the past 62 years and this political movement is the vehicle to take us there.”

Together the two parties were standing strong as one team and Alexander pledged to do everything he could to remain in political partnership with the Re-United Farmers Group to contest the general election.
