PRESIDENT Christine Kangaloo sustains an injury while exercising outdoors on Holy Thursday.

A release by Communications Specialist at the Office of the President Cheryl Lala stated.

It noted, “After being examined by a doctor, Her Excellency is now recovering at home.

“While injured, the President is not totally incapacitated and, on the advice of her doctor, will be working from home for at least the next fortnight while she recovers from her injury.”

The release gave no more details.

Sources said that she and her husband have not yet moved into President’s House but are making arrangements to do so.

President Kangaloo was inaugurated on March 20, 2023. She is Trinidad and Tobago’s seventh President having succeed retired Court of Appeal judge Paula-Mae Weekes.
