A 30-YEAR-OLD man from Morvant was shot and killed on Saturday evening.
Dead is Brad Lindow of Almond Drive, Morvant.
Reports stated that officers responded to a report of loud explosions heard at Bottle Alley Road, Lady Young Road Morvant which was transmitted via the Command Centre.
Upon arrival, they were informed people in the area that the deceased was conveyed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital by an unknown person driving a white coloured Toyota Corolla, registration number unknown.
Several spent shell casings were observed along the roadway. The scene was secured and cordoned off.
Further enquiries revealed the deceased had arrived at Bottle Alley Road in a vehicle and made his way behind a green coloured shop located along the road when several loud explosions were heard.
He was later seen suffering from gunshot wounds about his body and although conveyed to the hospital was pronounced dead upon arrival at 6.40 pm.
The scene was later processed by divisional Crime Scene Investigators who retrieved six spent 9mm shell casings.
A medical report was also obtained on behalf of the deceased. The motive remains unknown and enquiries are continuing by Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region 2.
