Electronic Copy of Immunization Card Accepted at Safe Zones

BOTH photocopies and an electronic copy of your immunization card on your phone will be acceptable to enter safe zones.

This was revealed by Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh at the Ministry of Health virtual press conference to update the country on Covid-19 on Wednesday.

He was questioned about if photocopies and electronic copies of immunization cards will be acceptable at safe zones where only fully vaccinated people are allowed.

Deyalsingh said, “Under the Inter-Ministerial team which includes the TTPS (Trinidad and Tobago Police Service) the CMO (Chief Medical Officer) has indicated to the TTPS and public health inspectors that yes, photocopies and electronic copies on your phones will be accepted.”

He said that if someone lost their vaccination card they should visit they local County Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) office of the site where they received their doses.

Under the TT Safe Zone system bars and restaurants, waterparks, cinemas, theatres and casinos allow fully vaccinated people.
