PORT-OF-SPAIN – DWAYNE Bravo is to miss the entire 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 Tournament.

He made the revelation in the commentary box at the Queen’s Park Oval on Friday evening while the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) was taking on the Jamaica Tallawahs.

During his time in the box, Bravo showed pictures of his bandaged left hand where he was hit during a practice session before the start of the CPL. Also shown on television was an X-ray of the injury.

Bravo said, “The next aim for me is rehab to try to get my fingers moving again, it is going to be a long process…I will back playing competitive cricket in about two months’ time.”

This timeframe means he will miss the entire CPL which ends on October 12 with the Finals at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.

Bravo has handed over the reins of captaincy of the TKR team to Kieron Pollard who has a perfect record in his first two games against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and the Tallawahs.
