EXACTLY five months after elections Guyana has finally sworn in its ninth president.
Dr Irfaan Ali has been sworn in after being declared the President by Chairman of Guyana Election Commission, retired Justice Claudette Singh.
His swearing in follows months of legal wrangling and legal challenges.
