Companies Registry System Offline since December 9

THE Companies Registry Online System (CROS) is expected to be launched and functional in the shortest possible time.

The deadline set for this launch is February 1.

The Registar’s General’s Department in a media release on Wednesday acknowledged inconveniences caused last December when several of its servers crashed resulting in data being inaccessible.

It stated, “As the Department previously informed the public, on Friday 9 December, 2022, the Companies Registry system experienced a crash of its aged servers resulting in Companies Registry data
being inaccessible and consequently, the Companies Registry services were negatively impacted.”

The release stated, “The Department acknowledges that this has caused great inconvenience to members of the public and wished to assure our clients and stakeholders that we are working assiduously to resolve our current challenges.”

The public is being advised that to access the newly designed CROS, registration for a Companies Registry Account is required. 

To register, persons can visit the Companies Registry website via  www.legalaffairs.gov.tt

The Registrar’s General Department apologised for the inconvenience.
