THE early morning sailing at 6.30 am of the APT James from Scarborough on Wednesday has been rescheduled to depart at noon instead, due to a damaged shore ramp.

The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Company Ltd in a public service announcement on Tuesday stated that the ramp at Scarborough’s port was damaged due to the existing rough sea conditions.

That resulted in delays in the disembarking of passengers and vehicles.

“In the circumstances, the necessary resources are being procured to carry out the necessary repairs,” the release stated.

The return sail from Port-of-Spain remains as scheduled.

TTIT apologised for the inconvenience caused by the change in schedule.

Trinidad and Tobago remains under an Orange Level Hazardous Seas Alert until Wednesday at 12 pm.
