THE Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) issues an adverse weather alert – Yellow Level from Tuesday at 11am to Wednesday at 5pm.
TTMS stated, “The passage of a tropical wave will likely result in periodic rainfall, with the medium to high chance (60-70%) of thunderstorm activity. The threat of gusty winds, street flooding and isolated flash flooding will be present during these periods.”
In addition, Trinidad and to a lesser extent Tobago will be affected by this weather, the TTMA stated.
The public is urged to monitor the Met Office for weather updates, and those in flood prone areas are asked to follow the necessary safety precautions.
