This was a very exciting affair as expected because it was a chance for both teams to qualify. In a game that Austria should have won by a larger margin as they outplayed Ukraine in all areas. Baumgartner 21st minute strike put Austria into the Round of 16 for the first time in their history. Well done Austria.
Austria had 18 attempts at goal with four on target and a goal to show for it. Ukraine were very flat and only had five attempts at goal with only one on target.
Holland 3 vs North Macedonia 0

Surprisingly, Holland were up against it until the opening goal. I knew this would have been an easy victory as I had predicted Holland to score three goals. North Macedonia were very good in this game but were hard done by offside goals. Goals from Depay in the 24th and a brace fron Wijnaldum in the 51st and 58th made it an easy victory.
Holland, so far, are the leading scorers with eight goals in the tournament.

I had predicted a win for Denmark. It was an emotional moment when Maehle scored the fourth goal and made a number 10 with his fingers in tribute to Christian Eriksen who is resting with family at home after his cardiac arrest on the field in their first game. We all we cheering for a Danish win to support the darlings of this Euro cup.
Every goal was a loud cheer and every minute special. To see the Danish crowd jump with happiness and cry for success, no one will be upset if they win this tournament, such is the love for this team.
They finished second because Belgium did what was necessary and won against Finland. Damsgard’s started it in the 38th minute, followed by a Poulsen lucky goal in the 59th, Christensen wonder strike in the 79th and Maehle 82nd minute strike.
Belgium 2 vs Finland 0

As I predicted and expected Belgium won this game but it was by no means easy. Finland put in a great fight and were unlucky to suffer an own goal by Hradecky in the 74th minute.
Lakuku sealed the deal in the 81st and Belgium top the group with a perfect record.
