9 More Covid Cases

NINE more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

In its Sunday morning update, the Ministry of Health stated that these new nine patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of their chief medical officer of health.

The ministry also noted that 12 people have been discharged from public health facilities and reported 37 community cases having recovered.

Number of Samples submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency, the University of the West Indies testing site at Mt Hope and other local sites: 30,644

Number of people tested: 27,581

People having more than one test: 3,063

Positive samples in public and private facilities in TT: 4,321

Active Covid-19 cases: 2,017

Number of Deaths: 70

Discharges from public health facilities: 926

Recovered Community cases: 1,308

 

Positive patients in hospital102

Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility: 56 with six in the intensive care unit (ICU) and six in the high dependency unit.

Caura Hospital: 27

Arima General Hospital: Five with three in ICU.

August Long Hospital: One

St Ann’s Hospital: Ten

Scarborough Regional Hospital at the Fort: Two

Scarborough General Hospital, Signal Hill: One

Positive patients in stepdown/Transitional facilities: 112

UWI Debe: Four

UWI Canada Hall: 52

UWI Freedom Hall: 45

Tobago: 11
