THIRTEEN more deaths have been reported due to Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.
In its latest update (#747), the Ministry of Health stated that the death toll was now 577. There were three women and ten men succumbing to the virus, it stated.
The ministry reported 218 new Covid-19 cases taken from samples during the period May 31 to June 5.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in the country has fallen under 10,000 to 9,922.
The 13 death included:
- 7 elderly men with comorbidities;
- 1 elderly woman with comorbidities;
- 1 middle-aged woman with comorbidities;
- 1 young male adult with comorbidities;
- 1 elderly man without comorbidities;
- 1 elderly woman without comorbidities; and
- 1 middle-aged man without comorbidities.
