Young said the Cabinet took a decision to allow marriage registration the Red House in keeping with plans for historical buildings like the Red House.

The Red House was reopened to host sittings of Parliament last Friday after a $441 refurbishment.

Before the building was closed for renovations, it housed a department of the Ministry of Legal Affairs where births, deaths and marriages where registered.
