On Sunday, he held a bilateral meeting with Mozambique’s Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Carlos Joaquin Zacarias.

Young said, “Discussions surrounded the establishment of working teams from Mozambique and Trinidad and Tobago whose focus will be on the development of gas resources and learning from the experiences of Trinidad and Tobago in our use of natural gas in the production of LNG, ammonia, methanol and other petroleum chemical products. We also discussed the current global situation with respect to the need for energy security and aspects of climate change. Looking forward to working with Mozambique as we go forward.”
