THE Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has issued a Hazardous Sea Alert Yellow Level 1 from 2 pm on Friday to Sunday at 12 noon.

The Met Office stated, “Northerly high energy swells are expected to initially impact near-shore areas of Northern Tobago and gradually encroach on the Northern and Western coastal areas of Trinidad today. These swells can result in battering waves at shallower coastal regions and can be exacerbated during high tides.”
