THE Corinth Campus of the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) is handed over to the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF) on Friday.
The ceremony was held at the campus facility in south Trinidad.
The Minister of National Security, the Honourable Stuart Young; acting Chief of Defence Staff Brigadier General Dexter Francis; Chairman of the UTT Board of Governors, Professor Clément Imbert; and President of UTT Professor Prakash Persad were present at the ceremonial handover of the Corinth Campus into the management and care of the Defence Force.
Professor Imbert expressed UTT’s intent to provide support to the TTDF to ensure the transition and transformation of the facility progressed seamlessly.
Francis said the TTDF would put the entire campus to excellent use.
Young said the TTDF would properly maintain the facility and fully utilise the potential of the campus.
