FIFITY people have now died from Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health in its Friday afternoon update reported five more deaths.
Of these there were two men and two females who had co-morbidities and one elderly male.
In its morning report, it noted the death of an elderly female with co-morbidities and an elderly male.
The ministry also reported 48 more positive cases taken from samples during the period September 4 to 9. It had also announced 79 cases in its morning update from samples taken during the period August 31 to September 10. That means that 127 positive cases were reported on Friday.
