SLOPE stabilisation works are being conducted along the SS Erin Road and as a result, there is a temporary road closure.
The closure is in the vicinity of the 24.6km mark, Corner Skinner Trace.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a news release on Wednesday stated, “At this time, utility services relocation is underway and works will commence once the weather condition is favourable.”
Alternative routes are available via John Field Road onto the Fyzabad Branch Road.
Motorists are advised to proceed with extreme caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, follow instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
