CONSTRUCTION of a sidewalk has commenced along the Saddle Road, Maraval.
The Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) in a press release on Tuesday stated that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along Saddle Road, Maraval (in the vicinity of Massy Stores and Super Pharm) to facilitate the construction of a sidewalk.
Works will be conducted from Tuesday to Monday (October 4) between the hours of 9pm to 5am with brief disruptions during the day.
Motorists are advised to comply with the following directions and follow instructions from police officers on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, proceed with extreme caution and observe all directional signs and barriers and remain aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
The Ministry stated that any inconvenience caused was regretted and thanked the public for its cooperation.
