A 36-YEAR-OLD man from Lopinot is the country’s latest murder victim.
Police reports are that around 7.55pm on Tuesday, Richard Miller, 36 and Nicholas Gopaul, 24 both of Hosein Street, Lopinot were standing in a yard at Lopinot Road when a white Nissan Tiida bearing registration number PDG4390 stopped at the location.
The occupants in the vehicle began shooting in the direction of the men and then escaped.
Miller and Gopaul were taken to the Arima General Hospital to seek medical attention. Miller who received multiple gunshot wounds about the body was pronounced dead at 8.50pm. Gopaul is nursing a gunshot wound to the leg.
