PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley has returned home from his US trip.
The Office of the Prime Minister posted on its Facebook page at 7.03 pm on Wednesday that Dr Rowley returned from his trip to Washington DC.
Dr Rowley had travelled to the US to receive an honorary doctorate conferred upon him by Howard University, a degree that has sparked controversy with the Opposition, its supporters and other citizens.
He also met with US Congressmen holding discussions on energy.
Dr Rowley was accompanied by Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Stuart Young.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert acted in Dr Rowley’s position until he returned.
