PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley is discharged from hospital after undergoing an angioplasty procedure.
He was admitted to the West Shore Private Medical Hospital on Friday after complaining of chest pains.
After an angiogram on Saturday he had the angioplasty done.
He was discharged on Sunday morning and was said to be resting at home.
A release from the Office of the Prime Minister on Sunday stated:
“The Prime Minister was assessed by his doctors this (Sunday) morning and given the all clear to return home.
“We thank all those who sent messages of well wishes and kept the Prime Minister in their prayers.”
