THE mass vaccination and drive-thru site at the Ato Boldon Stadium is up and running.
It is being managed by energy company Proman with 150 personnel managing the vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Tuesday.
People are being administered with the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine via drive-ins by appointments only and walk-ins for Proman employees and their family members, officials told AZPNews.com.
There was steelpan music to entertain the staff with some people eating doubles after getting their first dose.
The vaccination at this site started on Monday.
At a virtual presser Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh also announced 109 sites across the country to help administer the Covid-19 vaccines.
The racetrack in Wallerfield will also be used as a drive-thru site from Wednesday.
