PRIME Minister of India Narendra Modi made a two-day official visit to Trinidad and Tobago on July 3 and 4, 2025. He was conferred with the nation’s highest award – the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (ORTT) – addressed a Joint Sitting of the Parliament, spoke to a large audience at the National Cycling Velodrome in Couva and ate doubles at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
