In a release on Wednesday, the Women’s League stated, “We thank them profusely for their foresight, steadfastness, competence and hard work as we mark this significant step in the Dragon gas project. In a geopolitical climate of fear and uncertainty, they both remained courageous and unwavering in their selfless commitment to our beloved country.

“In every sense of the word, they are heroes to all of us and history will record them as such.”

The license will run for a two-year period, until October 31, 2025, permits T&T to pay for the gas in fiat currency, US dollars, Bolivars and via humanitarian means.
