GATHERINGS of ten people and more are being discouraged by Government of Trinidad and Tobago to deal with the Covid-19 threat.

At a post-cabinet news conference on Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said he has asked Local Government authorities to limit the number of people going to rivers.

Rowley also said that people should not go to beaches to bathe.

He said this could lead to the spread of the pathogen that spreads the Covid-19 virus, once a person has contracted it.
