FAMILY and friends can now easily send money to each other using their smart phones.
This according to Chief Executive Officer of PESH Money Limited Simon Fortuné at the launch of its service and app at the International Water Front on Tuesday.
He said, “PESH Money is a service that allow friends and family to easily send money to each other using their smart phones.”
Fortuné said sending money should be as simple as sending a text.
He said the PESH app was now live and available for download on an Android or IOS phone.
Fortuné said the app connects to the user’s bank account but his company will never see the person’s account balance.
He said transferring money between users was free and there was a flat rate of $5 for debiting and crediting money from the user’s bank account.

Fortuné said, “It connects to your back account, so you no longer need to share your account details to send or receive payments.”
He said the PESH app should be considered as one’s digital wallet – just as the same way one would go to the bank and take out money and put it in one’s wallet.
Fortuné said the app is used only TT currency and with people with accounts in Trinidad and Tobago banks.
He said there is a maximum of $1,000 per transaction and a limit of $20,000 per month.
Fortuné said he hoped that people will use PESH because they trust it just like WhatsApp where users do not see ads.
He said, “How many WhatsApp ads you see and how many WhatsApp marketing that you see. You use it because people trust it.”
Fortuné said, “PESH is completely paperless system with just accounts, not paper, no agents or vouchers. We are not doing credit cards we want to make sure that the cost for using it is less than a doubles.”
