Now Robinson-Regis Undergoes Surgery

ANOTHER member of the Cabinet of Trinidad and Tobago has undergone surgery.

A release from the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday stated that Minister of Planning and Development Camille Robinson-Regis has had surgery and was now on extended sick leave while she recuperates.

It noted that Minister of Public Administration and Digital Transformation  Allyson West will act as Minister of Planning and Development from Thursday and continuing until Robinson-Regis’ return to work.

Senator West will act in this capacity in addition to the discharge of her normal duties, the release stated.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley had an angioplasty procedure after complaining of chest pains the day before.
