A 32-year-old Valencia man has been denied bail after appearing in court on gun and ammunition charges.
According to a release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Omali Jack of Bypass Road in Valencia, appeared in the Sangre Grande First Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
He was denied bail and remanded into custody. The matter was adjourned to March 3.
Jack was arrested by officers of the Eastern Division Special Operations Unit in the Valencia district, on February 19 and a Glock pistol and 16 rounds of ammunition were allegedly found in his possession.
He was charged on February 24 by PC Samuel of the Eastern Division.
