THE Ministry of Health opens a mass vaccination site for the influenza virus at the Divali Nagar on Monday.
A release by the Ministry of Health stated that Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh will be visiting the site at 2 pm on Monday to emphasise the importance of vaccination against the influenza virus as well as remind persons of the importance of practicing proper hygiene to prevent the spread of viruses.
The release stated that the site will be opened from January 15 to February 4
Last week, Deyalsingh said there has been one death due to influenza in Trinidad and Tobago for the year so far.
