The event will occur at Aripo Heights near to where Bharatt’s body was found one year ago. The body of Keithisha Cudjoe was found in almost the same spot earlier this week.

In a media release on Friday, the UNC stated, “Tragically, this comes one year after the UNC Women’s Arm’s Candlelight Vigil and prayer service on Wednesday  February 3, 2021 at the Arima Bus Terminal for Andrea Bharatt and all our women which were missing at the time. One year later and still nothing has been done. No lighting! No police post! Instead, the body of Keithisha Cudjoe was tragically found nearby the same spot.”

The Women’s Arm is asking persons to support the march by showing up and wearing black. The family of Andrea Bharatt is also expected to be in attendance.
