Leaking Pipeline: No Water in Parts of Central

A LEAKING pipeline in Korea Village, Carapichaima, is the reason why several parts of Central Trinidad will have a disruption in their water supply.

The disruption will take place on Thursday, a release from the Water and Sewerage Authority stated.

The disruption will take place from 8 am to 4 pm.

“This has become necessary in order to undertake repairs to a leaking 12” transmission pipeline located at Korea Village, Carapichaima,” WASA stated.

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalise to some affected areas.

Areas to be affected include: Appoo Avenue, Datta Road, EMBD Orangefield Road, Deokie Road, Orangefield Road, Jerry Junction, Waterloo Main and all associated side streets from the Waterloo Cremation Site to Jerry Junction, Cassava Street, Wyaby Road, Roopsingh Road, Butler Village, Brickfield Village, Ojah Maraj and parts of Orange Valley Road.
