LEGAL luminary Kenneth Lalla has passed away at the age of 93.
He died at his Valasyn home on Thursday.
Lalla leaves to mourn his wife who was at his side and three children Om, Bijili and Nalini – all of whom are lawyers.
He was a chairman of the Police Service and Public Service Commissions and also a member of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission.
Lalla was born in Dow Village in California and was admitted to the Bar on July 21, 1959.
He was awarded the Chaconia Medal (Gold) in 1998 and will be cremated according to Hindu rites at the Waterloo Cremation site at 10 am on Sunday.
