GEORGETOWN – THE high court is the right place to hear the arguments about the verification of the votes for Region Four in last Monday’s general election

Chief Justice Roxane George ruled on Sunday afternoon that the court has jurisdiction in a case brought by a supporter of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) seeking full verification of the vote for Region Four after the general elections.

This means that she will now hear argument on the substantive case and the results of the elections remain in limbo until the case is determined.
