FOLLOWING the death of Franklin Khan, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley appoints Stuart Young as the new Minister of Energy and Energy Industries.
Laventille West MP Fitzgerald Hinds is the new National Security Minister replacing Young.
Foster Cummings replaces Hinds as Minister of Youth Development and National Service.
Khan passed away on Saturday.
Young remains a Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister.
Dr Rowley advised President Paula-Mae Weekes to make the changes with immediate effect, according to a release from the Office of the Prime Minister on Monday.
The advice was done in accordance with Sections 3(9), 76(3) and 79(1) of the Constitution of Trinidad and Tobago.
