TOBAGO has recorded its first Covid-19 case.
A release from the Division of Health and Wellness and Family Development of the Tobago House of Assembly, said the first Covid-19 case was recorded at 5.30 pm.
It said that the person is from Trinidad and arrived in Tobago aboard an international flight on Wednesday.
It stated upon arrival, the person was taken to a quarantine facility in keeping it the protocols of the division.
The release stated that on March 22, the person developed symptoms and was taken to the Scarborough General Hospital.
It stated that a sample was taken and tested at the Caribbean Public Health Agency.
The person will be transferred to a facility in Trinidad.
